Energy is hot button issue in election

by Donny on March 19, 2012

The video above of presidential candidate Mitt Romney is just further evidence of how hot of a topic energy is in the election. On the surface, one might not think of energy as being a political issue but when you get just a little bit deeper, you’ll realize there aren’t many things much more political.

A famous saying is “choose your battles” and that’s something we must do when voting for the next President of the United States. How important is the issue of energy to you? Do you think states should be deregulated? What must we do to lower gas prices, and which candidate is more likely to do just that?

There’s not much we can do about gas prices but you might be able to lower electricity prices for your home or business. If you live in a deregulated area, you can shop and compare multiple electricity rates before signing up with whichever deal best fits your situation.

Simply type your zip code into our compare box located on the compare page and the home page, then choose whether your prefer a residential or commercial rate and click the compare button. Once you do this, if you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call anytime at 1-800-971-4020 and one of our expert energy consultants will be more than happy to help you out with all your electricity needs.
