Spark Energy offers free service for wounded soldier

Nearly two years after losing her leg in Afghanistan due to a bomb explosion, Sgt. Kendra Coleman was honored for her sacrifices for America with keys to a new four-bedroom and three-bathroom home.

Helping A Hero put on the presentation to thank Coleman and her husband Anthony Garza with their new home in Cinco Ranch.

Former presidential candidate Ross Perot was on location at the ceremony as were furniture stores such as Tista’s Fine Furniture of Katy, Star Furniture and Gallery Furniture.

Spark Energy was also on scene to present Coleman with a gift basket for energy-efficient products and offered free electricity for a year for the home.

Spark Energy, like other energy companies likes to be involved in the community and to be more than just a company.
