Laredo, Texas’ Best Electricity

by Donny on May 13, 2011

Laredo, Texas’ population of about 236,091 makes I the second most-populous city along the Texas and Mexico border and the third most-populous city along the United States and Mexican border. San Diego, California and El Paso, Texas are the only two larger than Laredo.

The southwestern Texas city is located in Webb County, just less than 145 miles west of Corpus Christi.

Being as close as it is to Mexico has its ups and downs, but because it’s part of Texas, its residents have the right and the ability to choose the cheapest electricity rates and providers for their homes and businesses.

About a decade or now, the state of Texas became deregulated, granting Texans throughout the state to freedom to shop and compare multiple electricity rates before signing up with the cheapest one.

To begin, simply type your zip code into our compare box, select ‘residential’ or ‘commercial’ and click ‘compare.’

Once you do this, if you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call anytime at 1-800-971-4020 to speak to one of our expert energy consultants.

Laredo is home to Laredo Community College and Texas A&M International University. The University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio also has a campus in the city.
