Rochester Discount Electricity

by Donny on April 15, 2011

Rochester’s population of about 210,565 makes it the third-most-populous city in the state of New York, coming right after New York City and Buffalo.

It’s located in western New York in Monroe County about 74 miles east of Buffalo.

Several nicknames have been given to the city including The World’s Image Centre, The Flour City and The Flower City.

Perhaps one day it will earn another nickname that refers to the fact its residents have the right and the ability to choose the cheapest electricity providers and prices for their commercial business.

The state of New York is deregulated which means if you’re a business owner or manager in Rochester or another deregulated area in the state, you can shop and compare multiple deals in your area before choosing the best one.

Just type your zip code into our compare box, select ‘commercial’, and hit ‘compare’.

If you are in need of further information after you do this, please don’t hesitate to give us a call anytime at 1-800-971-4020 to speak to one of our expert energy consultants.

Rochester has been recognized as a great place to live on more than one occasion.

In 2007, Place Rated Almanac ranked it the “Sixth Most Livable City,” and in 2010, Forbes Magazine ranked it as the third best place in the county to raise a family.
