Albany Energy

by Donny on April 12, 2011

Albany, New York has been the state capital since 1797 and is one of the oldest surviving settlements from one of the original 13 Colonies.

Its population of about 97,856 makes it the sixth-most-populous city in the state, coming after New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Yonkers and Syracuse.

It’s located in Albany County in the eastern portion of the state, just 40 miles west of the Massachusetts border, 140 miles north of Yonkers and about 145 miles east of Syracuse.

The location of the city and its many museums and historical markers all help make it a great place to live, as does the fact its residents can choose the cheapest electricity rates and providers for their commercial businesses.

New York became recently became a deregulated state which means if you’re a business owner or manager in a Albany or another deregulated area and you’re in search of a new energy provider, you can shop and compare rates before signing up with the best option.

Just type your zip code into our compare box, and select ‘commercial’ to begin.

Once you do this, if you have any further questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to call 1-800-971-4020 to speak to one of our expert energy consultants.
