Cheapest Energy in Syracuse

by Donny on April 7, 2011

Syracuse, New York is located about 87 miles east of Rochester in Onondaga County. It is the fifth-most-populous city in the state with a population of about 145,170 in city limits and about 742,603 in its metropolitan area.

The only cities in the state that are larger than Syracuse are New York City, Buffalo, Rochester and Yonkers.

It’s most famous for being the site of Syracuse University, but one other thing locals can take pride in is the fact they can choose the cheapest electricity rates and providers instead of being told who will supply their power.

The state of New York is one of several that’s deregulated which means the choice as to who providers electricity is up to local citizens, not the government.

If you’re in Syracuse or another deregulated area in the state, you have the right and the option of shopping and comparing rates before signing up with whichever one fits your situation the best.

Just punch your zip code into our compare box and select ‘commercial’ to begin.

After you’re done with that, if you are in need of any further information, feel free to give us a call anytime at 1-800-971-4020 to speak to one of our expert energy consultants.
