Electricity in Naperville, Illinois

by Donny on March 14, 2011

Naperville, Illinois is the fifth most-populous city in the state with a population of about 141,853, right after Chicago, Aurora, Rockford and Joliet.

It’s located about 30 miles west of Chicago in DuPage and Will Counties.

Originally, the town was known by most as a farming town but in recent years, it has become much more urbanized and many corporate businesses have chosen it to serve as home for their headquarters.

CNN’s Money Magazine named it the second best place to live in the United States in 2006.

Naperville obviously has a lot going for it, including the fact that business owners have the right and the ability to choose the cheapest electricity rates for their commercial businesses.

If you’re in the market for commercial energy and are in Naperville or another deregulated area, you have the option of shopping and comparing electric rates and providers before signing up with the best deal in your area.

There’s no reason to settle with a company because it’s the one the government has told you to sign up with it, and it’s pointless to jump from one provider’s website to another when all you have to do is type your zip code into our compare box and select commercial to begin.

Once you do this, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-971-4020 to speak to one of our expert energy consultants.

Alcate Lucent, which was once known as Western Electric is one of the top employers in the area and one of the largest providers as well, may or may not provide the best rates for you.

To find out if it is, compare the best rates you find on our site with that of the rates you find on Alcate Lucent’s website.
